Welcome to My Blog!

I've been thinking and thinking about starting a website and a blog to narrate my own life. TOO MANY funny things happen not to record it somewhere. Too many thoughts, projects, initiatives that I have engaged in that I'd like to gather into a sort of online time capsule.. lol

The title of the website as you have seen is "Kelsey's Greenhouse". I created the logo on Canva which I totally fell in love while completing a huge Black History Month project. So shout out to Canva for making your platform so easy to use!

Anywhoo, the title of the Blog is called Thrown Black and female. I will write a separate post outlining how I came to choose this name, what it means to be thrown, and all the ways that these descriptors Black and Female, organize my perspective on things in a very particular way.

Intentions

I hope that this blog makes you laugh and cry and do everything else in between. This is were I ill exercise what I learnt working as a research assistant, instructional support assistance and now a Educational Technology Support Assistant and Clinical Counselling Master Student. So expect that these post will be multimodal, using both written text, youtube vides, podcast snippets, artcile links (if I find the free resource to share) and more!

I am so excited to share my outlook on things with you all.
